Overview
Dr. Morelli received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University followed by her MD Degree
with Distinction in Research from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2003. She completed her
residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU School of Medicine,
and subsequently completed subspecialty fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and
Infertility at New Jersey Medical School. She is a former Scholar of the American Association of
Obstetricians and Gynecologists Foundation (2010-2013), during which time she developed a mouse
model to study the role of bone marrow-derived cells in the endometrium. While a faculty member at
Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, she completed her Ph.D. studies in Biomedical Sciences at the
Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She is Board Certified by the American Board of
Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). She serves as a Board Examiner for the ABOG Oral Exam in REI.
Her investigative interest is in disorders of the endometrium and contributions of the endometrium to
reproductive success and failure.
