Dr. Oseni received her undergraduate training at the University of Massachusetts and her medical degree
from the Case Western Reserve University. After completing her medical studies, she was commissioned as
an officer in the United States Navy and completed her general surgery training at the National Naval Medical
Center in Bethesda, MD. She served in the US Navy for 15 years. She received her fellowship training in
surgical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.

Overview

T. Salewa Oseni, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology
and Director of Multicultural Affairs at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She will also be affiliated with the
Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr Oseni joins Rutgers from Boston where she was an Assistant
Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and a breast surgical oncologist at Massachusetts General
Hospital Cancer Center. She specializes in breast oncoplastic surgery.
