Sari Bentsianov, MD completed her medical degree at Temple University School of
Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to complete her residency in Pediatrics at
the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY followed by a fellowship in
Adolescent Medicine at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center/Icahn School of
Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is clinically proficient in all aspects of adolescent
health care with clinical interests including adolescent preventative care,
adolescent gynecology, and sexual and reproductive health care. She is proficient in
placement and removal of long acting reversible contraception (IUD and contraceptive
implant). Additionally, she provides gender affirming care for transgender
youth and adolescents. She has a particular interest in medical education and is the
co-director of the Community Based Adolescent Medicine (CBAM) rotation for the
residents and medical students.
