Riana R. Jumamil, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she practices as a primary care and weight management physician. She also mentors trainees in the combined Internal Medicine/Preventive Medicine residency program. She completed the Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency at the University of California San Francisco, followed by a Preventive Medicine residency and MPH at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Originally from Hudson County, NJ with a Filipino-American background, Dr. Jumamil graduated cum laude from Harvard University and earned her MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her work bridges clinical care with quality improvement, population health, and health equity.
