Overview

Najla Al-Sweel received a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology (with a minor in Genomics) from Cornell University and an MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University. She completed a Laboratory Genetics and Genomics fellowship at ARUP Laboratories and the University of Utah. Dr. Al-Sweel is board certified in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. She has published novel genetic findings, and her professional interests include accessible and equitable genetic testing and solving diagnostic dilemmas with genetic answers.
