Dr. Megna Khatri is a proud New Jersey native who completed her undergraduate studies at New York University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She returned home to attend Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she also completed her residency training in the combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics program in 2022.
Deeply committed to serving the Newark community, Dr. Khatri remained at NJMS as a faculty member in the Department of Medicine. She practices as a Medicine and Pediatrics Hospitalist and has been actively involved in medical student education through various preceptorship and clerkship roles.
Her passion for teaching and mentorship led to her appointment as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program in 2024. Her clinical interest is hospital medicine, with a continued focus on advancing education and compassionate, community-centered care.
