Dr. Lebioda was interested in the sciences from a young age. He studied at Northwestern University earning a degree in the Biological sciences. He went on to earn a medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina where a love of Radiology took hold. He went on to complete a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He then took a faculty appointment at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood Illinois. He spent 10 years there training medical students, residents, and fellows in a busy academic setting. The hospital is a busy tertiary care hospital, which is also a level one trauma center and stroke center. He left that practice to return to the northeast where he could continue to work in a busy tertiary referral center also teaching medical students and residents.
