Kyrillos Attaalla, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine attending physician and medical
educator. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University???Newark, followed by medical
school at New Jersey Medical School. He subsequently completed his emergency medicine residency
training at New Jersey Medical School, where he developed a strong interest in teaching, curriculum
design, and learner assessment.
Dr. Attaalla completed a fellowship in Medical Education at Rutgers NJMS, during which he also earned
a graduate degree in Adult and Continuing Education. His academic interests include undergraduate
and graduate medical education, simulation-based learning, and curriculum development. He currently
practices as a board-certified emergency medicine attending physician while remaining actively
engaged in medical education and academic scholarship.
