Luis Alzate-Duque received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2014 and completed his medical residency training in combined Internal Medicine/Pediatric at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2018. He completed an Academic Medicine Fellowship through the Hispanic Center of Excellence at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and is currently completing his Master's in Public Health with a focus in Urban Public Health. He is focusing on cancer care disparity research in Latino communities. His interests include research on health disparities in primary care, community outreach and engagement of underserved populations, and urban public health. He is an Assitant Professor of Medicine with Rutgers NJMS.
