Dr. Strauss is Chief of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Section at the VA New Jersey Health Care System. He is also Associate Program Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at NJMS - Rutgers. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. He went on to complete a Pulmonary Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Strauss' clinical focus is on the care and management of patients with COPD. He is also an experienced bronchoscopist and enjoys teaching and supervising fellows on the Pulmonary Consult service at the VANJHCS
His clinical interests include sleep disorders, pulmonary hypertension, shortness of breath, COPD and exercise evaluation.
